Growing fast

Erica is 8 months old... my how time flies!  It is almost like she flipped a switch when she hit the 8 months and 1 week mark.  In the course of 3 days we had to lower the crib mattress because she can now sit up by herself and therefore potentially fall out of the crib and two days later had to rush out and get a baby gate for the top of the stairs because she's full on crawling.  She still has no teeth - yes, zero teeth.  She's a spitting image of her beautiful older sister which means Daddy will have to beat the boys off double time when they are older.  She wakes up happy - didn't get that from me! - and is stubborn and fiercely opinionated - okay, that may have come from me!  Life is good and if we weren't so busy living it I might have more time to blog about it!
